Suitable for: Hotels and other accommodation providers, tour attractions and retail outlets. Anyone involved in receiving and looking after Chinese visitors as tourists or business delegations.

The aim of this workshop is to offer practitioners of hospitality in tourism the chance to learn about what will undoubtedly become the largest tourism market in the world within 10 years. Already known for growing affluence and high spending, the Chinese visitor has different expectations and travel habits from Western tourists. Having the knowledge to understand this and accommodate their needs will make your business stand out and generate further sales from this market.

China business specialist speaking fluent Mandarin Chinese, expert on China's tourism and hospitality sectors. Managing Director of ChinaContact, market entry specialist for the tourism industry. Roy has lived and worked in China for three years as a senior tourism development manager and director selling outbound travel. He has since been active in educating the European tourism industry on the intricacies of the Chinese travel market.

Yu Sun A cross-cultural consultant with a particular focus on Anglo-Chinese communications in Business. Previously working with Shanghai government as a project manager, Yu Sun has worked on many international projects between China and Britain.
As a native Chinese, she employs her knowledge and experience to help bridge the cultural and business divides through effective communication. Yu Sun established Yuyumedia in London in 2004, provides cross-cultural communications training services and business strategies to many corporate clients communicate effectively with Chinese counterparts, clients includes: Getty Images, Tesco, Herman Millers, etc.
